We're a small team and we hire deliberately — when there's a real seat to fill, not to grow headcount. If your work overlaps with what we do, we'd still like to know who you are. When something opens, you'll be the first call we make.

Who we tend to hire

Engineers who've actually shipped.

Our work is hands‑on. We don't have a junior consulting bench. People here have run platforms, built products, and held pagers. If that's you, get in touch even when no roles are open.

Platform engineers

Deep AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. Comfortable with IaC, identity, networking, and the security controls that come with regulated work.

AI and data engineers

Production ML, data pipelines, and the practical side of running models — evals, drift, cost, and the unglamorous bits.

Software engineers

Strong fundamentals, opinionated about quality, happy in any stack. Most of our work is TypeScript, Python and Go.

Security and compliance

IRAP, ISM, Essential Eight, ISO 27001. People who can read a control catalogue and write the evidence that satisfies it.

If any of these are dealbreakers, we're probably not a fit — and that's fine. Better to know now.

Australian citizens, mostly Canberra‑based

Most of our work needs Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance. We have a Canberra office. Hybrid is fine; fully remote depends on the engagement.

We don't sell the bench

You won't be put on a bus to a client and forgotten. Engagements are small, we work directly with the customer, and senior people stay involved through delivery.

Pay is transparent

Bands are published internally. We don't haggle. We don't pay below market to "make it up later". The number is the number.

No marketing fluff in the interview

Two technical conversations and a chat with a principal. No coding tests with a stopwatch. We want to see how you think about real problems.
